I love Mahler, all of his works, and Kindertotenlieder especially.
Bought Covent Gardens Die Zauberfløte med Simon as Papageno. Marvellous interpretation, completely different fra Dieter Fischer Dischau who has always been my favourite Lied singer. Unfortunately I live too far from Oslo and the New Opera house, have to depend on DVD’s. Will buy more of Simon and look forward to his Vinterreise, as we say in Norwegian.
