I too was at the Temple Church recital and was utterly spellbound by Simon Keenlyside. He is quite the most wonderful performer – so profoundly moving. Now whilst I admit that I can be swept off my feet by a handsome face, I have never actually fallen in love with a voice before!!

I was there at the Temple Church recital…it was amazing. Simon has had such a huge influence on me as a singer, I was lucky enough to meet him afterwards for a brief chat…!!!

Can’t wait for this concert – am revelling in Simon’s Live at Wigmore Hall CD as I write this (consists of many of the songs on the bill for Temple Song.) Utterly gorgeous interpretations – matchless colouring and totally authentic acting. I believe Simon is just unique in the brilliance of his singing AND his acting. Found his portrayal of Rigoletto stunning – so moving.
Aren’t we lucky?
