So wonderful to see Simon on the concert platform again. I have fingers crossed for Don Giovanni at the Met this coming fall.
I am alarmed to see he seems to be wearing the orthopaedic contraption on his left arm that he was using a few years ago – for example in the Covent Garden Macbeth that I have on Blu-ray. Does anybody have a word of information on this issue? Is it a new injury or a repeat exacerbation of an old one?
