You are so right, Susanne and Angelika, Simon is definitely back with his beautiful lyricism, intensity and skill in the creation of truly believable characters. Such a memorable evening. Its hard to think of another singer with such versatility. Fagin was an utter delight, next come American songs then home again to Mozart – fabulous. Thank you so much Simon.

I am still under the impression of this amazing “Traviata” on Monday in Munich. It was such a good feeling to have Simon back on the opera stage, acting and singing with so much intensity and style, together with his wonderful partners.

Hello, yesterday’s Traviata was very marvellous. It’s sure Simon is back. The same expressive and lovely singing as ever. For him and the others there was a great success. Now I’m looking forward to Simon’s next Don Giovanni at the MET. Many greatings Susanne from Germany
