So far as Chaikovskiy’s brothers have got enough reasons to avoid meeting with Pushkin fase-to-fase, what one can to speak about the young directors and their ideas.
In admiring by possibiluty of sir Keenlyside to stand with kindliness I wish to him and all surroundings to be healthy.
It seems more important.

Thanks for your interesting comments. All I ccould say is that my old Russian teacher would have been stunned by Holten’s bold interpretation. But, this “giving the first glimpse of rehearsal” and/or the director’s explanation seemed to be so appealing that very few tickets are available. I can’t wait to see this new production.

Veru funny. Looks like children playing of adults.
According to Pushkin – Onegin is russian transcription of Don Jovanni: some aristocrat follen ill by arrogance, who lives in the divased world, therefore better to stand aside of him…
I belive, when words run low – pattern of sparkling personage di Ferrara’97 will apply here and will be successful, inspite of pronounciation. IMHO.

Totally gripping. So interesting to see the 2 singers work with the director in as much detail as actors rehearsing a play. I’m sure this production is sold out but I’m going to kill to get a ticket.
