I was interrupted by a nasty imp, who thoughtlessly bit off my closing sentence which goes as follows: first and foremost on my buckett list would be to see and hear Simon sing “An die Musik”. Then I could freely
slink off into afterlife gratified, satisfied with tears of fullfilment running down my cheeks.

Thank you!

Thank you! It’s not your fault! Because this information has appeared on La Scala web-site not so long ago. Your team does a great job! And we all are so grateful to you for that!

Hello Irina

SORRY, this is MY fault – I forgot this date – just looked up the dates his agency tells us. YES 19th is among them – will add the date next minutes.

This information from La Scala web-site about Le Nozze di Figaro cast:
Il Conte
Carlos Àlvarez (26, 29 Oct; 2, 5 Nov.)
Simon Keenlyside (8, 10, 16, 19, 24, 27 Nov.)

But there is no information concerning the date of 19th November in Simon’s schedule here.
Is it possible to know exactly if he will sing on this date?

So glad you are back again. Look forward to seeing you in Macbeth in December in Vienna. Take care!!!

Askonas Holt will update their page – they have forgotten these two performances ;-(

According to Simon`s schedule of Askonas Holt Simon won`t sing Germont in Munich, but on this fanwebsite and the stafflist of the Bavarian Opera there isn`t to read that he will withdraw from the two evenings “La Traviata”on 15th and 18th July. Who knows about it? Thanks in advance!

Every good wish for the Wigmore Hall Recital on January 31.

In view of the current ‘news drought’, I though Simon’s admirers would be pleased to hear that a short excerpt from Chabrier’s Briséïs ou Les Amants de Corinthe will be broadcast during Composer of the Week on BBC Radio 3 at 12.00 and at 18.30 on Friday 13 November. Or listen again on iPlayer.
Thank you Diana for pointing this out to me.
Pretty good typing, don’t you think, for someone keeping her fingers crossed for Brussels – 7 December?!

Dear All,

According to the programme of the Wiener Konzerthaus, a Schubert recital by Simon ist scheduled for 14th December 2015. However, as this concert is not mentioned in your above schedule I am worried that it might not take place at all… Does anyone know more about it? Many thanks in advance and best regards from Vienna! Peggy

I have just seen the sad news on broadway world.com that Simon has withdrawn from Totentanz in New York. I pray that his beautiful voice will soon be fully recovered so that we can have the thrill of hearing him sing live again asap!

For those who haven’t been able to get hold of a copy of the new CD yet, a treat – Simon will be singing some highlights live on In Tune, 4.30pm this Friday 7th November! – Diana.

Anne Johnson November 2, 2011 at 6:36 pm

Just to let you know that Simon will be on Radio 3 – In Tune – tomorrow evening (3rd November).

Thanks for letting us know that Simon’s interview is missing from his calendar – I’ll add it now… It just slipped through the net. We certainly knew about it (two of us have tickets!)

Kew February 10, 2010 at 12:36 pm

Thank you very much for sharing the latest SK’s information with us all.
I just want you to know that Mr. Keenlyside is invited to the interview event in New York on the 22nd of March , organized by Metropolitan Opera Guild. As this is not performance, it might have been intentionally excluded in the calendar. Besides, this even is already sold out!
